The German noun die Jalousie means "Venetian blind."The French noun la jalousie can mean either "jealousy" or "Venetian blind," and it can also refer to a plant called the "sweet-william." So be careful when translating.
UNRELATED UPDATE: A balance transfer apparently just went through. There's nothing quite so beautiful as a credit card whose balance reads "$0.00."
